The Arnold Palmer is a refreshing, perfectly balanced mix of sweet tea and tart lemonade. Named after the legendary golfer, this classic drink is perfect for warm days!
Ingredients (Makes 4 Servings)
For the Sweet Tea
- 2 cups water
- 2 black tea bags (or green tea for a lighter taste)
- 2 tablespoons sugar or honey (adjust to taste)
- 1 cup ice cubes
For the Lemonade
- 2 cups water
- ½ cup fresh lemon juice (about 2-3 lemons)
- ¼ cup sugar or honey
For Serving
- Lemon slices
- Ice cubes
- Fresh mint (optional)
Instructions
1. Make the Sweet Tea
- Boil 2 cups of water, remove from heat, and steep tea bags for 5 minutes.
- Remove tea bags, stir in sugar or honey, and let cool.
2. Make the Lemonade
- In a pitcher, mix 2 cups of water, lemon juice, and sugar.
- Stir until the sugar dissolves completely.
3. Combine & Serve
- Fill glasses with ice cubes.
- Pour equal parts sweet tea and lemonade over the ice.
- Stir gently, garnish with lemon slices and mint, and enjoy!
